Courses
Procedures and Expectations were established with students through discussion at the beginning of the year.
Class Procedures

pencil sharpener. Lines will not be formed to sharpen pencils.
2. Sit in your assigned seat, and begin on your warm up assignment every single day without waiting on the teacher to enter the classroom after completion of hall duty.
a. Make sure to use an appropriate heading for papers, which will include your first and last name, the date,

Classroom Expectations
_ You are
responsible for your own action. In my class, you are given the opportunity to
manage your own behavior. You are expected to follow all community, building,
and district guidelines.
1. Follow directions the first time given.
2. Respect others and yourself at all times. Negative putdowns will not be tolerated.
3. Raise your hand and wait until you are called upon before you talk. Do not talk to your neighbor or try to catch someone’s attention while the teacher or another student has the floor.
4. Be on time and prepared every day. Take care of personal needs such as water, restroom, and lockers at designated times. As a high school student, it is your responsibility to bring necessary supplies for each class.
5. Food, gum, entertainment items (i.e. IPods, MP3 players, cellular phones), and toys should not be brought to class. These and other related items distract from the educational process. (Due to uncontrollable temperature settings, sweaters may be worn according to the uniform policy.)
6. Hair combing, brushing, braiding, etc. has no place in the classroom. This classroom is not a beauty salon, barbershop, nor restroom.
7. You are expected to clean up after yourself. Keep trash off the floor. Be sure your desk is straightened before the teacher dismisses you.
